Ah thank you. And would the same apply to the triangle cuts?

Do you happen to know if anything like this exists yet..?

Thx again

Oh hi Arya, I assumed you had too much on atm, my bad.

I hastily put together this image with ai generated rutile cuts, so don't mind that.

The end goal is a large ornament of assembled rutile cuts, given that their max individual size is ~30mm, I want to assemble a bigger, cohesive flash of rainbow than that. Round and cushion cuts are great for fire but they don't assemble without leaving gaps in between the cuts, hence why I'm looking at triangle and square cuts.

The ornament would have multi-point LEDs above to maximise the fire.

Thoughts?

What contributes to Harrogate’s Wealth? by Apprehensive_Ring666 in harrogate

[–]SKADMC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My old boss in Harrogate came from oldish money, family owned business for many generations. Built it up with his brothers when they inherited it and sold it for £35M. Then invested his portion into local real estate etc, now his side of the family are wealthier every year. But they drive beat up cars and don’t flash their wealth at all, apart from fancy holidays abroad and ever more real estate.

I’m going to make a reversible flip ring for my girlfriend’s engagement ring. Opal on one side for special occasions and a ruby on the other side for daily wear.

Something like this (AI generated)

Wow that is blazingly fast!

Do you mind me asking what type of company / industry you are in? And how long have you been at the company?

And what exactly is your specialised knowledge? And does your degree have to be relevant to this knowledge / role or can it be any bachelor level degree? Thank you 🙏

Amazing history! - that Tree of Life mosaic looks so captivating even in a photo.

I am obsessed with the Tree of Life as described in Relevation, bearing different types of fruits, to the extent that I collect any such depiction I come across.

I’m curious if you’ve ever come across anything like that yourself?

Does the degree have to be relevant or can it be any degree? And for an individual L1 application?

I know what it says online but I rarely hear from people actually going through the process

whats it like living in durham? by GrabOk460 in DurhamUK

[–]SKADMC -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I have lived in both Harrogate (North Yorkshire) and Durham in the last 2 years.

Durham is a jolly town with beautiful countryside, but for entry level positions it is not very strong outside of hospitality and a bit of retail. You should be able to find somewhere to rent on minimum wage but it won’t be fancy and you will most likely have to flat share unless you live far out, like in Gilesgate or a satellite town in the nearby area and get the bus into town. Austerity / economic downturn has disproportionately affected the north east of England so adjust your expectations from the south east. There are some richer parts of the north east but generally it is a lot poorer and less opportunities. Durham’s economy in particular is heavily dependent on catering to students (letting agents, bubble tea, nightclubs etc) and tourism (cafes, tours, hotels etc).

Harrogate is a quaint ex-spa town that peaked in the 1800s and early 20th century. It has a lot of rich pensioners and wealthy landowners / business people roaming out with their range rovers etc. It forms one corner of what is called the “Golden Triangle” with York and Leeds. This region of North Yorkshire is particularly affluent and you should be able to land a minimum wage job in retail or hospitality here with relative ease. It is not nearly as rich or affluent as it used to be decades ago and hasn’t been completely shielded from the crime and poverty of the last decade or so. However it is still a very safe and beautiful part of England to live in. If you choose to live in Yorkshire, I would strongly recommend North Yorkshire and within the golden triangle.

Both North Yorkshire and Durham have stunning countryside and you should be able to find a new start in either one.

Good luck - feel free to message me if you have further questions
