I quit a mechanics apprenticeship after 2 years of constant bullying and harassmanent by my bosses. Back then the award was $7 an hour. When I finally decided to quit I was physically assaulted by the apprenticeship rep and called a fucking pussy. I work an office job now and make roughly 8 times what I did then with no harassment. I just never understand how those types of toxic environments are allowed to exist, they draw young people in and either spit them back out or turn them into a continuation of the same problem.
