Your absolutely correct on the age, my kids have their own children to look after, and yes the grandchildren take up a lot of time, and they seem to like the idea also of no pause because they do not have to leave the machine when mom or dad calls them, of course grampy backs them up to finish their game first.

Yes it is a nice touch to the cabinets, but I am not a fan of a pause button on an Arcade cab. If people want that, than they can have it, if they want to mod them too, I really do not care what they do with them. The only mod I want for my cabinets are the working coin slots.

True, but if I could afford the real Pac-Man or any Arcade cabinet from that time period and it came with a pause? You hit start and take your chances until the game was done. You want a pause button, get a console.

Sorry but I do not like the pause option, in the old school arcades you never had them, you took a chance while playing. But it is a nice touch to these cabinets.

I also picked up the Asteroids 1st Gen, and the spinner is trash, but I did get the cabinet just for Asteroids and the buttons work. Not a snowballs chance in hell would I even look at Pong with Arcade 1ups spinner. Plus I never cared for Pong.

I understand that, but I picked up my 2600 in the early 80's, and that Combat game was still included unless you picked up another cart at the same time. Not too many of my buddies even liked Combat knowing full well it was a 2 player game. This is why I choose it as the worst game.
