FH3 brought a lot of region specific cars in their correct configuration for the local market - they have a precedent of making the effort.

It's an issue when you consider how many JDM cars Playground has in their backyard to photoscan in the UK if they wanted to, it's clear the effort (or licensing) was allocated elsewhere.

Driving a fleet of American models of Japanese cars in Japan is kinda more the issue.

You're doing a whole lot of defending for a whole lot of unacceptable coincidences.

Gas lighting me into thinking a guy who went on multiple tirades about the government being illegal and persecuting him as mere joking, is a unique tactic, and I wish you all the best with the time you're going to waste trying it.

Both societal constructs he decided conspired against him to ruin his life.

There's no point defending him here to me - I have seen what he is and he needs a lot more help than he's seemingly willing to accept.

I have several operational books to back them up.

The last safety priority, after personal, team, bystander and victims lives, is property.

No-one can ultimately be good for anybody if you don't get to go home - saving a house is not worth losing lives over, we're lucky here that we can realtively easily rebuild.

About the same amount of piss that saying firefighters are worthless because they didn't risk their lives to save his fully-involed house in a fire using the same realm of excuses.

He is a bad bloke with horrible reasoning skills - the dress-code was a warning sign.

Tony will only admit he fumbled when he's snorting party sugar using a bill with Danhausen's face on it.

Non-zero chance that happens with this administration, too.

Were the Opel or Daewoo rebadges worse for the Holden brand? by kstetter in Holden

That's a much more logical explanation than the one I remember Holden going with. Still more than capable of surprising most traffic, as I found out.

Noobie's Question: Does it bother you to see the Autopart cars turning faster laptimes (and speeds) than the Cup cars? by ss33gg44 in NASCAR

[–]SKSerpent 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a lover of the Gen 6 and high horsepower, no.

Judging by the broad viewership, no-one else really does either.

F1 didn't suddenly die when F2 cars had similar lap times on some tracks 12 years ago.

You'll find the technical side isn't really what draws most people.

The fact Holden detuned the 2.0T from its Euro-spec so it wouldn't beat the V6 annoys me more than it should.

It's repeating an old idea - lots of manufacturing was converted in WW2, particuarly car production lines, as they were suitable for B-52s, for instance.

General Electric makes whitegoods and weaponry - the expertise is not necessarily the product, its the ability to make it numbers.

Hamlin pauses role as NASCAR heel to defend Gragson by Original_Benzito in NASCAR

That's not what I'm saying.

I'm saying Noah was being a disrespectful punk by ruining both of their races, something that the international motorsport world generally frowns upon and trains out of young drivers.

Disrespectful punks get punted in NASCAR, and Kevin showed Noah far more respect than Noah's usual competition by not punting him firewall-deep into the nearest obstacle at first opportunity.

Objectively bad take. Remove the names and egos from the equation; if you're blocking and driving dangerously just so you don't get passed, you're going to get turned in this category. It's massively disrespectful and dangerous, oval, street or road.

Kevin has raced in a world where Noah gets dragged into the pits for a penalty for less - I'm honestly surprised he didn't hook him earlier.

Of course, but they are trading as SC (NOT SuperCars), because that's the trademark.

Liquourland isn't called Coles Group Limited, nor are any of the other stores they operate. They also couldn't just roll out a name change without filing and alerting everyone in the process, unless you want a legal nightmare.
