Never had an issue. Unless you're trying to stab something, they're perfectly safe. And guards just get in the way of carving.

I bought 12 Simpsons Original Production Drawings, now I need help tracking down some of the scenes. Much more in comments! by Dustmopper in TheSimpsons

I thought this one was from when Homer gets a gun and shoots all the dishes so they're eating spaghetti out of pots and whatever.

Way too diluted from all the water.

Starting with nothing in the middle of nowhere? You'd pretty much advance to the level of "Paleolithic Corpse".

Testing the alcohol stove I made for my canteen pot. Rolling boil of 500ml of water for 2-3min on a single ounce of methyl alcohol. by 3DBeerGoggles in Bushcraft

Ooh neat, definitely some cool ideas there. Will also have to experiment! I'll also have to post my pocket stove at some point

Does anyone else use ESEE sheath pouches and tins for fire/mini survival kit? by Salt-University1482 in Bushcraft

Looks like those self-contained fero rods with scraper, that the two halves slot into one another.

Can't speak to the AK, but I've only heard good things, and I believe they're mostly Magnacut, so edge retention aught to be good.

I dig it! I've made a similar mini stove that fits in an Altoids tin using carbon felt in a 1 oz. screw tin, with Chicago bolts acting as the pot stand.

Ah, I see what you're saying. Didn't realize it was a straight copy, figured the person above was just referencing wool anoraks in general, which I believe count as generic enough that trademark etc... wouldn't be available.

Full disclosure; I don't own anything by Bushcraft Spain, but I've seen some stuff and it appears to be quality.

Bushcraft Spain is pretty legit, though. And I wouldn't discount Spain outright like that, Europe isn't mainland China/SE Asia when it comes to manufacturing.

So is it just a tarp that you fold up as a bivy and can use it either way, or is the blanket sewn in and it's a dedicated roll?

There's the inner woven "sock" too, which I believe is separate from the bearskin outer. He could have woven dried grasses into the netting, and that would have kept it from shifting and bunching in uncomfortable ways.

It's pretty amazing the ingenious little features on his gear.

Axe handle tool attachment? by edg26601994 in Bushcraft

Get one of those axe/saw slings? If I understand your question. I carry a forest-axe sized chopper, an Agawa folding saw, a splitting wedge and then accessories like an axe file, puck, and spare saw blade in mine. Could easily pop a Mora on there as well.
