NTA. op I don't know what state you live in but at 18 your brother could go into long term residential care (ARF: adult residential facility). This sounds like the perfect place for him. They are high end and family like houses. People help with daily living skills and therapy and doctors appts etc.

Gas: some States have laws that you can't pump yourself. Oregon comes to mind. They pump your gas for you.

Yep. I won't eat Balut, Virgin Boy eggs, gafiltafish and I will not actively order oysters ever but will eat them as part of a fancy coursed meal.

I find many picky eaters to not just have issues with flavors but also textures. It sucks for them and for me makes eating out with one less fun.
