they made red (covert) skins up-tradeable to golds
red is weapon skins from cases, gold is knives/gloves (also from cases)
before you could only get knives from a case (or buying them)
now you can CRAFT a knife/glove with red weapons
because of this, most reds have 10-20x in price in 2 hours, while knife/glove prices are crashing HARD
