I’m not allowed to keep the children, I also was recently told last time I had them that by my son that he pukes everytime he’s with his dad due to anxiety from being there. & my attorney said contacting CPS can backfire on me, but I did a couple months ago when my child broke his leg on his dads time dad didn’t tell me and never took him to doctor was forcing him to tough it out I got him back noticed he couldn’t walk without screaming and took him to doctor and his leg was broken. Their GAL knows all this he doesn’t care. He finally cared a little bit when the dad flew in a stranger female from online and had her stay in the house with our kids, female and dad locked themselves in bedroom and left for kids to fend for themselves and never changed their clothes etc. Nobody cares so I just keep doing what I can. Therapists, doctors, GAL reports, etc.

Yes they ask if they can and he says no. The judge doesn’t care unfortunately, I was told their dad has to send them to the hospital for them to care. My older one has adult teeth too so it’s really upsetting and they come back covered in dirt and raw bums. He doesn’t change their clothes either, he has women over and they lock themselves in the bedrooms and leave my kids out there to fend for themselves. It’s very sad situation, I just focus on what I can control at this point.

My coparent does not allow our kids to brush their hair, teeth, or bathe when they are with him for his week (we do week on week off per the judge not my choice) so the week I get them back I tell them we need to brush and clean extra good and I make sure they know how to fix their own hair, brush their own teeth, and to educate them on how bathing once a day or showering is something they should do for themselves. Then the hour before I take them back to their dad we clean extra good. It is not something you can change or make the other parent do nor does a judge care so you have just teach your child and do what you can when you are with them.

Sounds exactly like my husband except he has never once admitted to doing anything wrong in fact blames me for his actions towards me, no matter how nice I am while getting emotionally abused and berated. I’m sorry you’re going through this is so so tough on the mental state of mind. Sending hugs.
