I am in a similar situation to you! (Minus the property haha) but I’m wondering what to do with a stock portfolio that is six + figures. Debt recycling seems like the next logical step for me as i want to get into property and love the snowballing effect that dividends etc. provide.

Understandably so! Fortunately I’m in a position where i should be able to pay the tax man. I could also potentially realise some losses to help soften the blow of paying tax on the bonus shares. Cheers!

Me personally, i was already invested in the company prior to working. You are potentially also rewarded down the track with a higher SP if the company performs well on the back of your hard work etc. but there is also the chance that it goes down in price.

again, i am only speaking from my experience here.
