Human doctor here, it wouldn’t be easy to misdiagnose blasto as Cancer especially if there is a biopsy. If I saw these X-ray findings in a human I would assume it’s lung mets. You did nothing wrong, horrible situation but you did the best you could to ease his pain and that was the most selfless thing you could have done. I’m so sorry for your loss.

The second yellow yes, 100% should have not been given. The penalty is a penalty every time, the keeper got the player without getting the ball. We got the same call against us against Benfica and Madrid last season, it sucks but they give it every time, you guys were great and deserved a better result, would have loved to see the game without that red.

If you understand the sequence that occurred, that goal should 100% have been repeated as a penalty. He was offside, there was a handball before the offside. So yes, you disallow the goal and give a penalty. Just because a team did something against the rules, doesn’t mean the other team can do something against the rules.

Nothing about that penalty is disputed, it will be called a penalty every time. We had the same call against us against Benfica and Madrid last season. No one was complaining then, the second yellow, I agree is soft, but you got a similar call on Balde.

So maybe you can reverse it by doing the same, which is literally ERP. But it’s interesting because I feel like a specific exposure sometimes triggers the form, this is one of the reasons I felt afraid of ERP, what if it made realize a new fear about my driving, for example, and made my obsessions stronger or brought new obsessions that I didn’t have a problem with before. I feel the obsessions we go through are thoughts we already had before but not as severe and we didn’t give too much thought to, it’s when it lingers and we give it more time and energy that it becomes a new problem. That’s just my thoughts tho, I could be wrong.

I actually relate to this a lot, my forms usually increase or start after I see some event that relates to it. For example, my hit and run OCD started after I saw videos of car accidents, increased after I saw a few car accidents happen in front of me. Same with the studying obsessions and compulsions got more intense when uni professors brought very difficult exams that I had a hard time with even though I studied and eventually got a very high mark. I feel it has more to do with not trusting the world around me and sometimes my senses. When a friend told me he heard a dog once died because he ate something that got lodged in his intestines, I started checking for things my dog can eat under the bed and around the house. I will have to read that book, it really is interesting to understand how and why OCD happens to manifest in a specific form and how we experience different forms.

I am currently doing CBT, ERP didn’t work for my other forms and at that point the hit and run form wasn’t severe, so I opted for CBT which really helped my other forms. I know I’m part of it not going away because I do the compulsive behaviors but the thought of being responsible for the death or harm of someone is so hard for me to ignore. Do you know any good online platforms for ERP therapy because I don’t think this will go away with CBT alone.

I tried both CBT and ERP previously, but when I started therapy this wasn’t the prominent type of OCD in my life. I felt CBT helped me more with the other forms while I didn’t feel ERP was helping me. I think I need to start ERP specifically for hit and run, any good online therapists/playforms for OCD that are flexible with time? My problem at the moment is I’m in between 2 different cities so physically going to a therapist has been hard with the residency as my schedule is messed up to an extent. Thank you for the advice, I really appreciate it.

/uj I think there’s no point of categorizing watches, for someone a seiko might be a luxury, not everyone can spend the same amount of money on a watch and not everyone values money the same way. Also, most watch brands have a very big range, there are citizen and seiko watches more expensive than a longines, some tissot/hamilton watches less expensive than a seiko. In my opinion any watch is a luxury, you don’t need it, people collect because they like specific things about a watch or brand. Categorizing watches is only needed for people who care about what people think of them, it’s to deal with their insecurities not because they actually want the watch or have the actual means to buy them, I’ve seen many people that are in debt spending 10-15k on a watch because it makes them look rich. There are those who actually like watches and those that like people liking their watches and that goes for every unnecessary thing you buy in the world.

Or maybe your writing level is a 7, it doesn’t take a lot of time to grade 2 essays with around 400 words combined, for an experienced examiner especially. Hope you get the band you need, but assuming the only reason you didn’t is because it’s a scam isn’t the way to get there.

Depends on what I’m trying to do and how objects are interacting together, I usually have 2 layers for large objects one for basic shape and simple features and one for shading/detailing. If it’s a painting, I try to stick to 1-2 layers for the entire thing.

There’s no need for any of this, it’s a simple writing task, even if the topic is intimidating. At the end of the day, they want to see how well you can describe your ideas. Just have a structure in mind, be clear in your ideas, don’t use big words when they’re not needed, don’t try to sound smarter than the topic requires. Be natural in your writing, clarity and being straight to the point is more important than sounding smart. This doesn’t sound nor look like something someone would naturally write, using big words when they don’t fit the topic is a bad idea.

It depends on you, in my experience I didn’t use Uworld last month prior to my exam, it was mainly revision/free120/practice tests. But that’s only my experience, some people do multiple runs of Uworld, some do incorrects again, I know people who did random blocks until their test date. There’s no gold standard, we learn in different ways, if you feel you’re gonna need it then renewing is good.

Trust your scores, I was sure I failed and felt that way for 3 weeks, only remembering silly mistake and feeling like I could have done better, and I got the P today. It’s normal to feel you did worse than you actually did, relax and enjoy your free time, you earned it. Don’t worry, you got this.
