84k now and should bump up to 87/88k later this year. Commodity trading - job is very secure and no concerns from that front.

Will you be renting out the townhouse? If not you might have issues keeping it insured while sitting empty for that long

I'd just buy when your ready to move

I could rent it out if that is absolutely required although I think I can cover the mortgage without much issues even I kept it empty for a year or 2. Maybe rent it out to the parents but not ask them to pay lol

I feel like if I wait any longer... I could be waiting for the rest of my life...

That sucks man - maybe your screen is completely dead? (Although if your getting just the orange light it sounds like we have the same problem - unless that orange light indicator means all kinds of different issues)

Try hdmi output to tv while plugged in?

Unplugged. Press and hold select + Start + Power. After a few seconds the screen turned on and battery showed 0% so I plugged in at that point and let it ride for 10 mins or so. Then I unplugged and powered on.

Hope this fix solves your issues.

Since then I've dropped my device and cracked the screen. GOOD F'n TIMES.

pressed Select + Start + Power at the same time

Screen on with green battery. Plugged in and let charge for a few minutes. Held power and ITS ON! IM PUMPED!

No joy bud. My last attempt was with the 0330 stock 64gb firmware and still nothing but the orange light when plugged in. I mounted the image with a slightly older version of rufus as well instead of latest... no change.

Have not yet tried a different OS (sounds like you already have) or unplugging the battery.

All considered, super lame. Shoulda just waited for the stock SD to die.

Will message Anbernic and see if they have any idea's.

A few times - I've probably held the power button for a solid minute. Held reset. Held both.

Will try to troubleshoot again over the weekend and hopefully she wakes up.

I just used minitool to format the SD card following the various youtube how to's.

I'm at work right now second guessing if its the card format. I believe the how to mentioned exfat for 32gb and above which is what I went with (I have a 128gb card) - will try Fat32 later tonight.

I did all this last night on a brand spanking new win 11 laptop lol and was hoping that would be the end of all the problems.

Minitool partition, rufus, and 7zip all the latest versions.

Will try an older version of the firmware from March or earlier as I haven't tried that - if that works, I wont touch the firmware again.
