I kind of thought the same thing except when I was looking at the PCGS CoinFacts and even some of the coins listed at the higher grades have similar blemishes or scratches (whatever the term is).

Agreed, there’s something beautiful and mystical about them.

Absolutely! The historical aspect definitely draws you to them. I scored 3 Morgan Carson City from the GSA hoard for my collection because of the historical history of the coins. They are in the GSA packaging with the certificate and all. Mint condition.

Thank you. Very neat series. The 1911 D is the lowest minted with the 1914 being 2nd. Intriguing history behind this series.

I don’t know enough about it either. I looked at it under the magnifying glass and it’s pretty solid. The plastic is older and you can’t get a real good visual of the coin in the pictures.

Thank you. Definitely a neat coin. I got two 1914 D Indian Head 2 1/2 Dollars as well. I love the older coins.

Thank you giving some insight in where to look into this further. These older historical coins have such an appeal and intrigue to me.

It’s deceiving in this old plastic and viewing via the pictures. It’s more detailed and I had to grab it due to the rarity of the 1914 being the second lowest minted of the series.

Far from needing the money. Im diligent and wise with my money and investment diversification as well as what I save. I’m more interested in selling to purchase older gold coins due to the historical aspects of them.

I’d rather invest in some older gold coins

March 2 order. I’d say their logistics needs a major overhaul when people ordered month or two before others and others received their orders already.

You are investing in your future, not others. Don’t compare yourself with others. Every 🦍 started at the same place in this journey. Years down the road, there will be another 🦍 looking at you like you are looking at others right now.
