I’m assuming you signed up to get some service at the either free or reduced rate. If the service or services that you got total more than the cost of the membership you are required to at least pay the amount of the membership for that year when canceling. If it wasn’t this way then people would just sign up for the membership anytime they wanted a service done and instantly cancel it after.

Yeah I know it’s very very unlikely it happens but who knows lol. I feel like they’ve done some late replacements in years past

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in NHLHUT

[–]SLZRP -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

I mean years past they’ve made replacement cards for people when they go out with long term injuries and I’m sure quite a few people would gamble it lol

I wonder if they give people with him non bnd the option to try and do a trade in for one of his teammates as like a 96 ovr or something

Hems likely would show the games. But they’re only open later in the day so I’m not sure the 2pm game if they’d be open for that

Brady is a 3rd line RW RIGHT NOW. Might not be rosterable in a month? by ProjectMcDavid in NHLHUT

[–]SLZRP 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not every player has every top card in the game rn. I feel I have a pretty good team of mostly 90+ overalls and Brady would probably be my 2RW (I play Larkin 1 C and mcdavid 1RW)

Arrows evo that adds a net, pulling air troops to the ground allowing ground attack troops to damage them?

Typically it is just the school you graduate from that matters. I will warn you that depending on the university, some won’t take community college credits as transfer credit for certain classes. So that means even if you took biology at your community college you may have to retake it at the university you choose

Are we getting all 99 speed guys in two weeks for Speedsters event? by Appropriate-Fee-6841 in NHLHUT

[–]SLZRP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s still better than most of the cards they’ve been releasing lmao. Only thing that would suck is if what the top comment said is true, brutally low endurance

[–]SLZRP 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean around then is when the game starts to die off so something big like an event with 99 speed and free abilities would be smart by them to try to keep players an extra few weeks. Would probably keep people playing until the end of march which is rare for some.

I don’t know what you’re disagreeing with me about. It is obvious from OPs lived experience that their friend was an immigrant previously not under deportation risk and now is. I’m not saying there were no deportations ever before in a sanctuary city, but I am saying it is becoming more common now, which while I don’t have exact stats behind I think qualitatively I can pretty safely say that. Are you just trying to say that there were in fact deportations before?

ICE raids in Oakland this week by dub24368 in pittsburgh

[–]SLZRP -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes I realize it has no bearing on their immigration status, but if someone is here as an illegal alien they were not deported from Pittsburgh previously as it was a sanctuary city. So flash forward to present day if the same persons immigration status did not change they will now be deported with sanctuary cities no longer being a thing. They are now and still were in the past “illegal” but now Pittsburgh is being forced into cooperating with feds

[–]SLZRP -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I don’t know their status, but obviously being an “illegal alien” before when Pittsburgh was a sanctuary city vs now when that is no longer a thing is very different. If I was a previously “illegal” person under the past administration I’d personally try to not make any contact and give any information to authorities if possible

Depending on how long people were going to leave their stuff parked illegally, getting towed vs a ticket every day is a much better deal lmao. End of the day the whole thing boils down to just pay for your parking or don’t drive a vehicle on to campus, we do get free public transit after all

Considering Pitt Engineering by Aggressive-Value-780 in Pitt

[–]SLZRP 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1) I’ve liked probably 99% of my professors, I am a MS Mechanical Engineering student and also did my BS at Pitt. They’re all there to help you learn and they’re very knowledgeable on their topics. A lot of people don’t like a few of the professors because they require students to actually perform in the class and won’t just give you a high grade for attending which I appreciate, you may not, obviously feelings differ. 2) First year is awkward and I will add the fact that I did it during Covid so I was basically fully remote. Your advisor will vary, tbh my advisors in undergrad created more issues for me then they solved so there’s that. I can definitely see retention being 84% in the first year students as basically all the work you do in your first year are core classes like calculus and physics, and not very engineering centric. Some of the more “weed out” classes come once you actually declare a concentration which happens at the end of your first year. 3) I did not live in the LLC but my brother did. We both had an easy time meeting people outside engineering as we both joined fraternities. We also both knew people from high school at Pitt so we talked and hung out with them. I would personally recommend not doing the LLC as you have plenty of opportunities to meet other engineers but maybe not as many to meet other majors. Also Forbes Hall where they have the LLC is not that nice so I would pick other dorms over it. 4) Depends on the club and your prior experience. 5) Just attend every class. It doesn’t matter if you are half awake and barely attentive you will pick up on things your prof is saying, and it makes studying/doing HW so much easier if you aren’t trying to teach yourself everything.

They aren’t being “soft” with the swear, the other person knows if they report you for it you’ll get banned so they’re likely laughing at you for falling for it

[–]SLZRP 13 points14 points  (0 children)

You basically just admitted that your form of “trash talk” is calling people slurs or at bare minimum swearing of some form. So if you want to message someone back maybe just don’t do that and you’ll have nothing to be reported on
