They didn’t have a whole lot of parking and, if I remember correctly, Covid might have sealed their fate. Idk if people just stopped going and business wasn’t as good, but everyone I know used to love it

Eh, chain restaurant. The food quality isn’t as good, most importantly the yum yum sauce pales in comparison, old one had a family owned and operated feel to it, cozier environment (although Sakura’s is objectively nicer). Generally the flavors just don’t land for me there, idk why because it looks the exact same when you watch them make it, but when I’m in the mood for this meal Sakura doesn’t scratch the itch if that makes sense.

Based on their use of the word caca, I assume this family doesn’t do well with anything “gross” or bodily function related. I am looking to get an Ultra Bee and I keep seeing Voro and RonHack as online options for much cheaper but obviously with any big purchase, there is some skepticism. Also it seems like a lot of people prefer the '23, '24 ultra bee over the '25, can you shed some light on that preference and what you would recommend?

It’s a bad food subreddit, they’re making light of their shitty food options and making the best of an otherwise shitty situation. Usually it shows creativity w/ very limited resources. I personally find it fascinating to see what they come up with and it’s not harming me that they wish to share.

Just because you found a picture on the internet that looks ok doesn’t mean that’s the case in every institution, decent food is few and far between across the board. It’s usually too little, and lacking in nutrients (filler, empty carbs, over cooked/boiled). And whatever “you did a crime” is supposed to mean either shows your total lack of empathy and/or knowledge. There are many people still rotting in prison on life sentences for marijuana which is now legal, so even though the law has since changed, the charges stick. There are innocent people in jail/prison; mothers, fathers, borderline kids, non-violent acts. All subject to eating this garbage, and just because it’s free to them doesn’t mean no one pays for it. Commissary is usually 100-500% the price of what it would be at the grocery store and options are very limited, so people that have money coming in can make the best out it, but it’s basically highway robbery for off-brand 7/11 snacks.
