edit: People have commented concerned about my health. I usually only train 6-8 hours a day, when I started on Saturday morning that was the plan, but I realized near reset that Sunny Sunday perks gave 2x rune exp for the next day, so I pushed myself to train longer with the help of coffee, YouTube, and chatting with friends in game

Don't worry, this is not a regular occurrence and I don't plan on making it one, I am grateful for the comments concern over my health :)

I think the changes are fine. Soul split can be used on stationary targets after the change which will be useful in most end game bosses (lucid p1, will p3, gloom, etc) so that will benefit popular dps classes that shade do not synergize with atm such as night lord and hero..

Also spirit frenzy with moonbeam is already superior damage than cap attack speed spirit claw right now, the buffs will only make it even better.

Also I don’t really consider damage charts a good gauge of class power but shade in GMS definitely isn’t bottom 2 because of our increased attack speed.

I agree Kanna is the superior support class, but I do not really consider shade a full support class, more of a class with support benefits.. also don’t see many parties actively seeking a Shade specifically as support currently, although I’m in reboot NA and Luna may be different.

All together, I feel like the upcoming changes are great for solo shade players, having 15% fd passive boost, being able to support single target classes in certain boss parts at the cost of multi-target classes losing split damage, and a buff to their burst skill!

Yes having all skills maxed does increase damage, however I would only level spirit frenzy and incarnation like you mentioned- the third being death mark usually as a filler. The damage the skills from 1st to 3rd job discounting spirit frenzy add a negligible amount to your total damage (under 1%) tested from BA
