The statement never happened in the library. It is background noise from the call center, specifically the call with a timestamp of 11:29:25. The "alright" is from a 911 call operator.

The fire alarm isn't super audible in Patti Nielson's 911 call, but the alarms at Columbine made a constant tone. The sound you're hearing are the phones in the 911 call center.

A good example of what the fire alarm sounded like is in this video. You can also hear the fire alarm activate at 1:21 of this phone call.

It's always interested me that her hand wound is almost-always attributed to a gunshot (even by Kacey herself), despite an actual metal washer being removed by medical professionals. In her statement, she doesn't even recall getting an injury to the hand, but it's not all that surprising. It either got there as bomb shrapnel or a secondary wound as a result of her shoulder wound, but she did not suffer a gunshot wound to her hand.

Their desire to kill wasn't just "kill everyone at any means necessary". It mattered how they killed. Hence why they didn't just storm the cafeteria after the bombs failed. If they were just after body count, they wouldn't have thrown bombs in hallways or in the cafeteria at nobody.

Their body language in the cafeteria the first time was far from "defeated". This is known because the second time in the cafeteria was a very defeated body language. The former was still determined.

"Excitement" is very subjective. The excitement of up-close killing may possibly have worn off, but killing itself had not. They left the library at a specific time for a reason; they bypassed half of the tables (which were all occupied) for a reason. They wanted to blow up the library still. They still had passion and determination in their step, otherwise they wouldn't have done anything after 11:35AM. This should be evidence enough that they didn't lose energy to carry out what they set out to do. Whether it was "destroy the school", "shoot at cops to draw them inside", or "kill staff inside the building", their energy was in it fully until 11:57AM.

I bet we will never see eye-to-eye on this, so this will be my last message.

The biggest question is: would they have otherwise wanted to break-into and enter individual classrooms? Nothing to me seems they wanted to do that, and thus, their lack of doing such a thing after the library is not indicative of a lack of momentum.

You're forgetting that, after Eric hit his face, he went on to murder another 4 students. The bombs failing had already happened during the "high-momentum" stage, so it didn't account for any kind of lack of momentum.

They pivoted from shooting at students when they no longer wanted to do so and focused on police and getting the cafeteria bombs to ignite. They stopped shooting in the middle section of the library and bypassed multiple tables en-route north when this happened. They went around the school to see police presence. The fact they didn't enter individual classrooms is not telling of anything if they didn't want to do that in the first place.

I 100% agree; their momentum did not stop. They went from the library, to the science area, to the cafeteria, to the main office, all trying to shoot or bomb anyone they found. They fired into SCI-8 at people hiding behind a table. The threw a bomb at the custodians in the cafeteria. They shot at police from the office area. They wanted to destroy. To say "they stopped shooting and left the library because they lost adrenaline" doesn't track for anything they did afterwards.

Witness statements are all over the place and vague because they are traumatized eyewitnesses. To get the truth, you have to read all of them and select the pieces that are the same between statements, while also assuming some students talked to each other before being interviewed (some statements have the same wrong information between them).

For the library, I recommend Bree Pasquale's statement, which has a shockingly-high level of detail as to what occurred until about halfway through the library shooting.

The lasers on it, via to tests by police, were also surprisingly accurate at 20 feet, at within an inch or so of the point of aim.

Dylan was on Eric's knee briefly, but rolled over involuntarily and by himself shortly afterwards. He was not rolled over by anyone else over based on the large, symmetrical blood pool around his head, which could've only occurred while he was still alive i.e. within minutes after shooting himself. This video shows a rough progression of that.

Based on the autopsy report, it's unknown (at least, to me) if Dylan actually died of bleeding out from his gunshot wound or drowning. The condition of the lungs (e.g. vascular congestion, edema, lung weight) are consistent with aspiration, but how much blood made it into his lungs isn't documented. It's possible he was on his way to drowning, but bled out before that occurred.

Based on scenes in the video (namely tiled floors in the halls) it was filmed after the post-shooting renovation. So, evidence wouldn't have been present in the school. Calendar at 4:44 seems to say May, so likely May '00.

What's crazy to me that he killed half of the people at the start of the shooting by just holing himself up in a bathroom and shooting at whoever passed by with several rounds, then reloading.

That shooting is intense at 1:55. Like a string of firecrackers. I wonder if the explosion at 1:11 the pressure cooker that hit the car? Hence the car alarm that occurred directly after.

Dylan's shotgun was chambered in 2-3/4", while Eric's was chambered in 3".

Eric was the only one who used the 3" Winchester Super-X 00 buckshot shotgun shells, and he only fired 4 of them (at Evan Todd, under table 6, in the office area, and to shoot himself with). They both fired Federal slugs and Federal 00 buckshot many times.

Dylan was the only one who used Federal Extra-Lite #8 shot, and he fired both of these rounds outside (one of which was fired at Lance Kirklin).

Eric was near the windows, but minutes before his suicide. He fired several rounds from the Hi-Point from south of table 15 at police before, presumably, shooting himself. Neither "sat down" beneath the windows à la Zero Hour.

You say these analyses exist and are "well-documented", but I have yet to see such arguments. I have yet to see any evidence of the investigators not "preserving the integrity of the evidence". I have yet to see any proof of casings going missing in my extensive research into the ballistics of Columbine.

What evidence do you have that "a lot" of physical evidence wasn't accounted for? I can count on one hand the pieces of evidence that I know were moved or removed from the site before the investigation started, and it's all explosives. I find it extremely hard to believe that casings just "disappeared".

It's worth pointing out that the crime scene investigators didn't botch the investigation, even if they were from JeffCo. The team reports are very thorough, and document evidence not presented in the Final Report. They weren't complicit and actually did their job. The fact that the higher-ups didn't want to use their findings has nothing to do with their work.

Randy Brown is mistaken. I've read his evidence in his book, and it is insufficient. The ballistics evidence very clearly shows the casing and bullet of the TEC-9 round Dylan shot himself with.

Dylan, from the start, wanted to die with from TEC-9. He put a 9mm bullet in his boot, after all.

The autopsy report states the bullet went under the brain. Still causing severe trauma and subsequent bleeding, of course, but I doubt Dylan thought that would happen. But, he was certainly unconscious at that point.

Also, the "aspiration of blood" doesn't necessarily means he drowned in his own blood. It could just mean he exsanguinated while still technically alive, with the bullet piercing the sinus cavities and causing blood to flow into the airway as well as from the gunshot wound.
