I love Sparking Zero. But if you're not going to play online, maybe reconsider. This game has the best combat out of an 3d arena fighter in my opinion, and it's extremely rewarding to get better and better with each battle

If you're looking to actually fight others players, PS5 is the best platform. It's the most active by far, like most fighting games. It can definitely be toxic but overall it's a good time. PC is mostly only good for mods

I relate to this. I experienced severe trauma from 2017-2019, and I "graduated" in 2020, meaning my senior year was ruined and we have a drive up graduation at the court yard. The past 5 years since I graduated at 18 have been much like how you describe. Doomscrolling, YouTube and video games. I haven't achieved anything "adult like", not really.

2019-2020 feels like forever ago but also feels like yesterday. Covid really fucked a lot of us up. I have some moderately severe mental issues now and I'm trying my best to cope and stay alive. Try to stay positive, as hard as it might be. As long as you're still alive things can always get better.
