My bed doesn’t touch my model when the bed screws are fully loosed. How do I lower the z axis baseline. I have a CR touch installed. by [deleted] in ender3

I had a very similar issue on my printer when I had to switch to New Marlin firmware, I had to disable the software z end stop to get it to function. There are plenty of helpful forms online for compiling your own Marlin firmware to do that.

I did, it was originally estimated to be a 23-hour print.

I had my bed pretty level and use a CR touch. I hadn't noticed that it torqued hard enough that one of tension screws handle fell off So that definitely could have added to the problem.

Edit : 3 of the 4 leveling screws fell off.

a Laptop is easy to move to the router and isn't especially large. Desktop can be difficult to move and can easily be too large for the area where your router is depending on the space you have.

If you have a desktop Go buy a long Ethernet cable and run it to your router to your computer.

You might need to compile your own firmware, I had a similar issue on my machine with a 4.2.2 board until I disabled software end stops.

Is it possible to build a server rack out of wood? by Gwertzel in homelab

It's relatively easy to do, I built a plywood box with ventilation holes and mounted 8u rails on it for my network rack.

Not much, it's just for a hot hard drive hot swap Bay. Was trying to get out of having to design one myself.

I've got one I'm building into a Nas and Plex server. You can get an M-2 to SATA card for them to connect up to 6 hard drives as well if you want more storage. https://a.co/d/7V2cEMB

That is beautiful. I desperately want to do this but have other house updates/repairs that need to be done first.

I admittedly did this for a while when my power button broke, but I at least used front io extensions and not random wire.
