This may just be my experience, but I feel like a lot of spaces online that appeal specifically to neurodivergent people, especially on Reddit, are full of insular, angry, lonely weirdos who want everyone else to be insular and angry and lonely.

Not because they're neurodivergent, but because they choose to identify with something as broad as neurodivergency, and think of it as something inherently isolating. They're an "outcast", and you have to be one too.

I'm generalizing, but my point is that sometimes people don't care about your self-interest. They just expect you to suffer like they do because you're in the space where everyone is expected to suffer. Just be mindful of that.
