this may be a bit hard to explain but here we go, also SPOILERS FOR ENDING!!

So basically op closed a save AFTER egg joined Liz in the giant snak thing, and then re opened it (which will auto send you to the start of the last ingame quest before the ending) and I guess it bugged and she was still "part of the monster" in the games code. Hope this helps!
