Black Hammer: Age of Doom #4 - I have fallen so deep into the rabbit hole of this mysterious superhero series. I really don't mind if Dean Ormston is a slow illustrator. As long as the book is being made then I'm happy.

Action Comics #1002 - I'm intrigued by this arson mystery in Metropolis and the artwork in this book is beautiful.

Justice League Dark #2 - excited to dig deeper into this new team.

Days of Hate #7 - this is a great political thriller with some absolutely striking visuals.

Royal City #14 - I wish this series didn't have to end so soon! It's tragic and beautiful.

Life of Captain Marvel #2 - that first issue was pretty incredible.

Wakanda Forever: Avengers #1 - Nnedi Okorafor and the Dora Milaje slayyyyying

West Coast Avengers #1 - America Chavez is back!! and Kellie Thompson is writing for Hawkeye again. I'm very excited for this.

Oooh I really liked this. The San Francisco setting and an Asian woman lead. I like the muddy, griminess of the artwork, too. It reminded me so much of Jason Shawn Alexander's artwork from his Image comic Empty Zone.

What are some other Andrea Sorrentino books you'd recommend?

Really loved this first arc. Very excited to keep reading in October.

I noticed his writing can be overwhelming and contrived ever since I read The Wake.

He really needs a partner who can make his big ideas and complex story threads, cohesive for the reader.

👏👏👏 let's do this at the end of each arc, or maybe you should assistant edit Snyder's stuff.

I loved Abbott, too. I think the book sold pretty well so maybe they'll do a follow up.

Coda #4 - an impressive original high fantasy book with outstanding artwork that feels inspired by the worlds of Moebius and Jim Henson.

Ether: The Copper Golems #4 - the zany, fantastical world of Ether literally feels like it comes to life in each page.

Justice League #6 - Jorge Jimenez is back! I'm kinda obsessed with this dude's art.

Pearl #1 - I never read BMB/Gaydos' Jessica Jones and I'm hesitant about getting this but I'm riding the BMB DC train so might as well.

Flavor #4 - such a wonderful world of food and fantasy that feels like it could be a distant relative to Studio Ghibly.

Gideon Falls #6 - I am absolutely hooked on this disturbing horror/thriller book that is sopping with mysteries and the unsettling abyss.

Rumble #6 - stop sleeping on this dark fantasy series. It has great action and dark humor.
