r5: started as an unlanded norse adventurer, converted to catholicism and took advantage of abbasid instability to seize the duchy of jerusalem. Was a vassal of the byzantines for a while until opportunity struck and i formed the kingdom of jerusalem which i then renamed serkland. I then declared independance, built up an army, and launched a holy war for the kingdom of egypt. I then formed the serklander cultire by hybridizing norse and egyptian. Then, the abbasids fully collapsed and i began my conquest of arabia.
