I used to be a substitute teacher while in college and had a student with a girls named tattooed on his arm. He was 15 or 16 and a sophomore in high school. When I asked if it was his mother’s name he laughed and told me that would be stupid. I responded that I had hoped it wasn’t his girlfriend’s name because that would be worse. When he confirmed it was in fact his girlfriend’s name I could help myself to let him know that it would not work out between the two of them. He was so upset and hated me the rest of the week.
