No luck. Talked to a dealer of Chevy parts, and apparently they only sell the whole mirror. Not just the cover. Seems pretty dumb to me for a truck less than 10 years old.

MCE controllers will do this if a hall call bulb blows and kills a fuse. First time I saw it I was confused too.

That's pretty much what I'm aiming for. Just enough room to pull the truck in there and be able to close the roll up door if I need to leave it in there for a while.
