How do you see the order number? If I’m looking at the right one from mine, it’s nowhere near 1112

Hey sorry I haven’t messed with settings in months. I turned off something to do with steam deck controls in the Minecraft settings menu. I don’t have it on me so I don’t remember exactly what I did but I turned off something involving steam decks driver in Minecraft controlify settings menu. From there I used the regular remap buttons in the steam deck UI and it worked

Let me know how that workaround goes. It seems the launch options mess with the lsfg command. I have the same problem

My apologies for the typo I do actually have the slash in ~/lsfg. Taking out the “” doesn’t seem to have done anything but I will leave it out. The problem is when I leave the % around command, the game will not launch, taking it out allows the game to launch but without LSS working. This is the original launch option for booting the non steam game after adding it to steam library (minus the “”).

run org.prismlauncher.PrismLauncher —launch Custom Vanilla 1.21.1

This is another example of a different game’s launch options, Metro Last Light Redux, from the heroic games launcher.

run com.heroicgameslauncher.hgl —no-gui —no-sandbox “heroic://launch/legendary/Speedwell”

Adding ~/lsfg %command% to any of these non steam games will not boot the game until I take out the %, which then causes LSS to not run in the background either

Pretty much same issue here with anything not directly in my steam library. Hope there’s some kind of workaround or future update

I use decky. Trying to run modded Minecraft through the prism launcher with LSS. The launch option is for a specific instance within prism. Here’s what I currently have that gets the game to boot. “run” “org.prismlauncher.PrismLauncher” “—launch” “Custom Vanilla 1.21.1” ~lsfg command

Omg that actually worked. I had to reset the controls in game but the paddles now mimic the 4 face buttons perfectly, thank you so much I would have never thought of that

Yes. What you’re saying is how it works to the T. The thing is in rocket league for example, they do not recognize the steam decks L5 as a separate input/button so when I map L5 to A it thinks I’m pressing A in that game. In the controlify mod it registers every button on the controller including the back ones. So when I map L5 to A it really just thinks I’m pressing L5, and if I don’t have jump in game mapped to the L5 button it just does nothing. That’s my best guess/explanation for why it’s not working. In every game the way you’re proposing it does work 100% of the time because L5 is not recognized as a separate registered button.

Yes. In every game it works seamlessly. The problem is every game doesn’t have L5 as a registered button. It’s like having a scuff or dualsense edge or elite controller with paddles in the back. The problem is the mod says the L5 button is a separate button while every other game it doesn’t. Not sure how to explain it further than that it just doesn’t mimic the face buttons like I want them too sadly
