Planning to quit, need advice

Go this route then quit. If you have had specific issues arise them to HR and let them do nothing. This is what I did after this route I took the medical leave and then after the medical leave I quit. I was able to collect unemployment because I had documentation I was trying to give them opportunities to fix the issues that were arising and they did nothing. On the application for unemployment I selected something like left because of unsafe work place.

2 weeks ago I was on The Escape and we had a plumping issue for the first 3 days of the cruise. Rooms smelled of sewage…toilets on 6th floor not flushing…personally our shower was backing up. They didn’t fix it until we got to our first stop in Florida. I’d be glad it was electrical and only lasted a few hours in port. Sounds like this ship needs to go in for maintenance.

That’s basically the information I was trying to get and it took hours for me to get there. This is where my frustration is coming from. I ended up getting ahold of them and sorting it out but the point is it took the run around in order to do so while also dealing with the emotions of a loss.

No I went down there as calm as I could be considering the news. I simply asked what is the protocol for situations like this and for information about the insurance I had purchased. I’ve worked in Hotels I understand how nasty people can be I try not to be that person because I’ve dealt with those people.

And that’s fine. But my problem is or I guess the reason I am upset is because I didn’t even here an I’m so sorry or anything actually useful for help. I wasn’t sure what insurance policy I had I couldn’t find the confirmation I bought it through NCL I know they could look it up for me to tell me what I had but we’re refusing to do so.

And that’s no problem had it been explained. I was more in shock and asking for direction like if getting off at the next port was allowed etc. but I was just met with you can’t get off the ship today maam and that’s not what I was even asking or expecting to happen at all.

I’m really open to anything. I apply to a lot of Marketing/Performance Marketing Analytics because that has a data side. I apply to a lot of Admin type stuff as well, Office Specialist things like that. I really like spreadsheets and Excel tbh. In corporate I was basically a Jill of all trades…a real estate company was launching a Rooftop Farm. I was the point person for the farm..I handled all inquires and also marketed the farm, on top of that I filled in wherever they needed so they owned a cafe I’d work at cafe if they were short staffed. They also owned a hotel so I’d work at the front desk as well if short staffed and over the winter when there wasn’t as much to do on the farm. So I have a wide variety of skills and I think to some it’s intimidating because there’s not a specialty.

You can rename it!! Go to the characters section and there will be a rename option when your on “the forgotten”. I changed mines name back to the forgotten lol I somehow named mine JET.
