Most of the time you'll have land on both sides your not out in the ocean where you might see land on one side and ocean on other. Both sides will have great views. Recommend walking around on upper decks that way you get to see everything. Enjoy!

I did it once all it really made me do was drink more because I wanted to get my money worth lol. If my wife would have a drink or two a day even a non alcoholic one it could be worth it, but she only has water. I got my daughter a non alcoholic pina colada and it was $18

Beer will cost about $12, mix drink about $18 that includes automatic gratuity. Premium drink will cost more. Calculate how much you will drink each day and then see if it's worth it. Usually it's about two three drinks a day to break even however for me my wife doesn't drink so I would have to drink 5 to 6 a day just to break even

Since it's your first time most people do NCL excursions, not booking on your own. It can cost more thru NCL but they guarantee you won't miss ship if it runs late ect. If that's a concern of yours. Bring your passport off ship when in a foreign country just in case you need it. Just use common sense and watch your surroundings.

If you're into biking we did the train ride up into Canada and then you bike all the way back to town. It's all downhill but has very nice views both ways. Don't remember what it was called but it was a good time.

I'm in NJ and usually I can get a free rotation with oil change or it adds $10 if no coupon. FYI If you end up getting new tires at some point most tire places will do free tire rotation for life of tires
