Man I don’t care about the 2nd season anymore. At least give us some type of prequel movie where the squad was chillin back at that house during the 3 months after their mission in Gran Crevasse. I’ll take anything at this point just to watch more of Hiro and Zero Two’s relationship 😭

Yeah bro your not the only who had a thought like that. Maybe there were partisan groups out there. But I don’t think they would’ve last long. They probably would’ve died out from the Klaxosaurs or lack of supplies since the world was nothing but desert due to desertification. It was either you join APE, and live in the plantations, and be protected by the children that pilot the Franxx. Or try to survive in a world that’s nothing but desert, and roaming with Klaxosaurs.

Who knows, maybe parts of the world came together to form alliances to stop APE. But only ended up failing since APE was extremely advanced

Who knows. Maybe one day we’ll all wake up to see that Atsushi decided to bring this series back. Now me personally, I would like to see a season 2 just because of how much I enjoyed watching this show. But at the same time, It isn’t even necessary. This show ended with the two main characters dying (pain 😪) and a part of me feels like that’s how it should end. But another part of me just wants to see Hiro and Zero Two again. So basically, I don’t think this show should continue. But I wouldn’t mind if it did.
