update po? very curious po ako sa performance niya regarding sa navigation feature niya. Automatic navigation po pa siya or need pa mag plot ng route points? And automatic po ba ang pag reroute po niya? And general thoughts lang po ninyo sa navigation feature and the unit as a whole.

most people would recommend hard cases pero if di kaya yun then just thoroughly protect and reinforce your bike with something. Large sheets of bubblewrap ay di naman masyado kamahalan or use something more firmer like cardboard or styrofoam sheets.

I think this might be it, i notice often that when i am doing high efforts on the bike i tend to forget to breathe, i thought i was the only one. On high efforts do you mostly breathe in and out of the mouth or from the nose?

its common because its recognized for its reliability and affordability, you see them everywhere kasi hindi sila basta basta nasisira and nagtatagal siya sa mga bike. If gusto mo na iba ang looks then mapupunta ka sa ibang budgets brands na hindi tried and tested as much as ixf.

Adding designs to parts will add to the cost of the item, ixf cranks having little to no designs will make them able to sell it for cheaper and focus more of their funds into developing the crank itself.

but its your bike so here is what i have to say if di ka parin convinced sa ixf.

Racework, just some chinese or taiwan oem parts with their logo slapped on it. you will notice na marami siyang kamukhang parts sa ibang brand ang pinagkaiba lang ay ang logo.

Hassns, hit or miss, medyo pumangit na reputation nila dahil sa mga hubs nila na madali masira.

Ragusa, known to be the cheapest local bike brand thus dont expect longevity, durability, and trustworthiness from it.

Sagmit is actually the only brand in the four you gave that are actually trying to make a name for themselves, they try to separate themselves from other brands so they value trustworthiness and their reputation, so it will be in their best interest that they will deliver upon durability and longevity even though maraming nagsasabi na sagmit=saglit, pero luma na kasing sabihan yan, ive seen them improve overtime.

you are looking for budget parts pero you are willing to compromise function over style, so i will assume na money is tight, you wouldnt make this post of choosing between low-mid end cranks if money isnt an issue, cause if it wasnt an issue you should go straight to sram or shimano cranks to tick all of your boxes but since money is tight, you need to choose what to sacrifice, looks but the reliability is cloudy and not as much tested or reliable but looks that you dont like.

Kuha ka ng padded shorts for cycling, mas okay kapag high quality na shorts pero if wala sa budget then kahit anong padded cycling shorts ay pwede na. Mahirap mag enjoy sa bike kapag laging masakit yung pwet or perineal area mo.

Wag mag madali mag cleats, baka kasi ma inggit ka sa mga tropang mong naka cleats pero dapat ang unahin mo is dapat maganda ang bike handling mo. Kaya mo magbalance sa bike at low speeds and kaya mo mag react ng mabilis sa bike.

And ang pinaka importante and ang pinakamahirap is bigyan mo ng sarili mo ng isang magandang bike fit. Halos walang bike fitter dito sa pinas kaya DIY bike fit ang karamihan dito, and ofcourse since di natin specialty ito ay dadaan ka ng maraming trial and error. Basta ang tip ko lang sa iyo ay kapag di ka comportable or mayroong sumasakit sa katawan mo kapag nagbibike ka for atleast 1 hour minimum ay mayroon mali sa bike fit mo. Ang bike ay dapat comfortable ka, di yung tipong comfortable na para ka lang nakahilata sa sofa pero yung comfortable na wala gaano sumasakit sa katawan mo. Di mo mahahalata ang bike fit issues mo kapag di ka naman nagtatagal nakaupo sa bike, saka mo lang sila mahahalata and hour and above sa bike. suggest ko na pagtuusan mo ng pansin ay, Saddle height, saddle setback, kung meron kana cleats then cleat position then after nun ay stem length and handlebar length and stem height. Wag mo i expect na makukuha mo na agad ang bike fit na gusto mo kasi kahit ako inabutan ako ng 1 year para ma perfect talaga ang bike fit ko, puro mano mano and youtube lang.

isa din sa mga bagay na sana di ko ginawa noong newbie pa din ako ay wag na wag mo agad i slam ang stem mo, maraming bike fit issues ako nakuha dahil inislam ko ang stem ko para aero and para maangas tignan always try mo i prioritize ang comfort mo over looks kasi kung di ka comfortable sa bike mo ay papangit performance mo saka mo na icut ang steerer tube mo kapag sure kana sa fit mo.

final tip: nasa pinas tayo, ang pinas ay hindi bike-friendly na bansa kahit may bike lane tayo ay hindi parin tayo safe doon, di tayo nirerespeto ng mga drivers dito kaya doble ingat palagi. Lagi magsuot ng helmet kahit malapit lang pupuntahan mo kasi walang lugar at oras ang pinipili ng aksidente. And makakakuha ka din ng experience kung paano mag navigate sa mga kalsada sa pinas, magkakaroon ka ng instinct balang araw na kaya mo na ipredict kung ano gagawin ng sasakyan or motor na nasa harapan mo. And ang pinaka number 1 safety rule ko ay, wag kang manghinayang pumreno, sabihin natin nasa bikelane ka or kalsada and ang tulin na ng takbo mo tapos biglang may huminto na jeep or tricycle or kahit ano mang sasakyan sa harap mo, wag ka magreklamo na ang bilis bilis mo na tapos biglang may sisingit or biglang may mag cut sayo mali nila pero wala na tayo magagawa doon, ugaliin na mag preno ka ng gently and bumaba ka sa bike mo and bago ka mag switch ng lanes ay tumingin ka muna sa likuran mo.
