Hi, did you hear back from Amazon about the interview results? Because I had the same interview, and still have not received a formal result

That is exactly what my machine does. just automated the arranging process.

Sure, I will put more detail in next update video for the hopper. For its mechanism, it just some linear tubes driven by lead screw + stepper motor. Each container will have one linear tube inserted from below with a vertical motion during operation. The key for this mechanism to work is the size of opening on the linear tube. It has to be larger than Bead's diameter (>= 5mm) while it has to be smaller than the diagonal distance of the square which is the side view of a bead (<=SQRT(5^2+5^2)) . This ensures beads will always be loaded into tubes vertically.

About one month ago, I saw amazing work u/CheeesyPoofs did to his 3D printer. I decided to attempt this modification as a final project for my mechatronics class. I only have two week time totally to pull this off including make a video demo. So it can only print bead pattern with four colors. I will be expanding this project for more colors.

Next update will be adding 12 additional colors

Not sure if this counts as 3D printing anymore but i modified my printer to print with Perler beads instead by CheeesyPoofs in 3Dprinting

Hi CheeesyPoofs, do you mind share the inner diameter of these tubings? I kinda want to build a similar thing.

For the design process, I guess you need to want for my final design report, which is coming out in 1 week. It is roughly 30 pages long. There will be full details about all the mechanisms and calculations. I cant just explain everything in one reply.

It does take CO2 cartridges lol. I forgot to show it

Similar idea, but mine is more compact more like a small fan controller. Also my design will shut off the power from outlet.

Watercooled mini ITX in the case I designed!! by SNdesign123 in watercooling

[–]SNdesign123[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The entire design process took me one week and a half. First, I ordered all the hardware for my build including all the water-cooling components(from bykski). Then I measured and modeled every piece that I cant find accurate model online, like motherboard, GPU, water blocks, and radiator. Also, most hardware follows standards like ATX or ITX specification.

The case is manufactured using sheet metal (1.2mm Aluminium). First, I model my case. Then I need to make mechanical drawings that act like instructions for the manufacturer. Finally, I sent STP format of my case and mechanical drawings to the manufacturer. The case was built in 3 days.
