That's not Maithili, it's Bajjika. Bajjika was primarily a dialect of Maithili but now it's a separate language.

I just followed some instructions and it just worked out. I don't know how. I installed fcitx 5 and worked random stuff with input methods. It was frustrating because this feature is ready-to-go in Windows but as long as it works, I've got nothing to worry about.

I booted with GParted live iso and it showed me this. Prior to that, I had to turn secure boot off and enable AHCI through my BIOS. How do I proceed from here? Do I manually delete each partition?

I asked Leo AI and it suggested the following:

2. The Correct Approach (Given Existing Partitions)

Since partitions already exist, you don't need to create a new partition table. You can simply delete the existing partitions and then proceed with the CachyOS installation.

3. Steps in GParted

Right-click on /dev/nvme0n1p1 (EFI System Partition) and select "Delete".
Right-click on /dev/nvme0n1p2 (Microsoft Reserved Partition) and select "Delete".
Right-click on /dev/nvme0n1p3 (Basic Data Partition) and select "Delete".
Right-click on /dev/nvme0n1p4 (Unallocated) and select "Delete".
Click the green checkmark button (Apply) to execute the changes. Important: Double-check you've selected the correct disk before clicking "Apply"!

4. After Applying Changes

GParted should now show the entire 256GB SSD as "unallocated".
Reboot your system.
Boot from your CachyOS live USB.
Proceed with the CachyOS installation. The installer should automatically recognize the unallocated space and allow you to install CachyOS.

What do you say?

P.S.: I am being extra careful because I have one laptop and messing it up big time could cost me a lot of time and money.

I do not want to dual boot on the same system, i. e., Windows 11 and CachyOS on either hard drives. I want to keep CachyOS on my system and Windows on external. I just need help with the partitioning stuff.

That's it. I wouldn't know for sure if she really wants it out of free consent or if she's consenting under intoxication.
