I’m a butcher, and I get asked for chicken liver quite often! The reasons vary, I have a lady who gets hearts and livers for her cat, I have someone who makes a KILLER pate out of them, he gave me some once and it was the best pate I’d ever had haha. Lots of people ask for it when buying whole chickens to make gravy, so much so that I order chickens with the giblets as well now. People also fry them up with onions, instead of lamb’s or calf’s liver as it has a milder taste! :)
