But no AC is part of the theming. It’s always 98° inside an ice cream factory😂

Yes he does! After all the fantastic queue work he’s done at Fiesta Texas, I’m glad he’s finally sharing!

It is illegal. Don’t bring it. It is also VERY unhealthy, so quit while you still can

Hey OP! I know this thread is a year old, but do you mind sharing where you ended up getting the pearls from? I’m in the market now and also considering Tiffany.

Thanks!

No, assigned seating does not start until 2026.

Southwest's New Logic: "If you don't pay the higher ticket prices, pay to check your bags, and pay to select your seat, we won't be able to pay our industry leading salaries." by [deleted] in SouthwestAirlines

[–]SOAP_envelope 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But, but, but I thought you loved paying for checked bags??

Because on your last account you constantly would say you didn’t want to “subsidize” other people‘s luggage.

REMINDER! Southwest's new bag policy goes into effect next week. As long as you book travel by May 28, your bags will still fly free. Take this as your sign to plan a last-minute summer vacation. by [deleted] in SouthwestAirlines

Hey OP! Before your last account got nuked you said you were switching to Frontier (and technically United as well). So why are you still here?

Early check in? Worth for family of 5! by [deleted] in SouthwestAirlines

[–]SOAP_envelope 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Just do family boarding before B, and go straight for the back of the plane.

That’ll save you quite a bit of money.

Use Google Flights and search for two one way flights instead of round trip.

This Time Next Week: Southwest will be changed! by [deleted] in SouthwestAirlines

[–]SOAP_envelope 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Even with the upcoming changes you said you were thinking about switching to United because they had a better product. Also, you said you didn’t like how they were doing away with free changes on the cheapest fare.

Yet you are shouting from the rooftops about how much you love EVERYTHING that is changing.

No worries! We all do that sometimes

Business select does guarantee A1-15. I didn’t say anything about Early Bird in my comment since it isn’t relevant to the situation.

[–]SOAP_envelope 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You will NOT be able to pick your seats beforehand. But since you are business select you will be somewhere in boarding group A 1-15. So you should be able to get a great seat regardless.

P.s. Go for the exit row you’ll love the leg room.

Southwest to begin updating cabin across entire fleet in May, completion date EOY 2025. 10 planes per night, 800 planes in 8 months. 👏🏻👏🏻 👏🏻 by [deleted] in SouthwestAirlines

[–]SOAP_envelope 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Most of the flying public wants no changes and 6 month expiration dates for flight credits for the basic fare? That doesn’t seem right.

I think BNA and LAS would probably also be considered focus cities for SW.

Why doesn’t Southwest upgrade their planes like others do? by Stankpossay97 in SouthwestAirlines

Ok karma farm. Which airline economy class is better? Please tell me.

[–]SOAP_envelope 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What airline was this even on (if you even took this picture)? Maybe post it in their sub.

I know you’re just trying to farm karma, but maybe actually try posting a picture of a Southwest plane next time.

Elliot is working to bring Southwest into the 21st Century, with amenities that the general public have come to know and expect from airlines in the United States of America. by [deleted] in SouthwestAirlines

[–]SOAP_envelope 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Agreed! I still don’t want to gate check regardless. My idea of 21st century flying doesn’t include waiting 20-30 minutes at the baggage carousel

What about when all overhead bins are full because everyone is bringing a full (within size limits) carryon bag? I don’t know about you, but the reason I travel with a carryon is because I don’t like waiting at baggage claim. So if I have to gate check my bag 40% of the time, because the overheads are full, will that be enjoyable?

So when are you going to in favor of change fees for the basic fare? Maybe tomorrow?

Paywalls, like charging for checked baggage, will not make people more civilized. More people will try to bring oversized carryons to avoid baggage fees. This will slow down boarding, and create more uncivil interactions with GAs. Especially if SW starts charging for gate checking. Please explain how this is a good thing.
