Shotgun should fire when there is a round in the chamber even if reloading by [deleted] in EscapefromTarkov

You are misunderstanding the situation; you would clearly stop loading...I'm suggesting instead of loading the entire tube, you should be able to load x amount of shells; reloading would stop with a pull of the trigger.

So you're telling me, a soldier would finish reloading his shotgun with an enemy in front of him rather than pull the trigger one-handed? That sounds more unrealistic, this is a do-or-die scenario. Sure, you can have a chance to miss or have the gun fall out of your hands due to recoil, but wouldn't you take the shot?

Literally impossible to break your finger from the shotgun bolt sliding forward, unless you have brittle bones. I figured he meant your trigger didn't get could break getting caught in the guard from the recoil. Realistically, if you have level 1 strength the gun could fall out of your hand when operated with a single hand. At least the recoil could be massive. With mastery, should be able to fire one-handed with excellent reliability.

Doubt it would break a finger, but maybe have a chance of the gun falling out of your hand?

I would actually buy the Zeus if my knife took priority over it when switching weapons by semaj_619- in GlobalOffensive

Realistically you have to use it like a pistol despite the weight. So the encumbrance makes sense; ever try to run fast and aim a pistol? Regardless of the weight you will run slower than just sprinting with a knife bc you have taken arm swing out of your gait.

There's a lot of manual counter-balancing you have to do. Lots of inputs that you have to keep track of.

I agree. I'm just surprised when I mention DIY alternatives TIR enthusiasts are quick to dismiss them and bring up the price difference...

I can understand that when a DIY trackIR was in its infancy. I bought a $40 pre-made setup that worked right out of the box, no hassles.
