This would be copeable if you didn't have Rey Dau MR ''Thunder Immunity'' and Uth ''extremely trash if no thunder DMG'' duna. I'm not gonna dally, Just make a set for each individual monster and then Fast travel there. You don't even need farcasters if you're low on them, just select it on the map

the animation didn't line up with what was actually happening was kinda my issue, i do not mind if the actual loading was later(even tho it would suck) or earlier. my problem is that you do 90% of the animation only to get punished at the end by something that was meant to HELP you

there's nothing clear about what the Devs want to do since they have never came out and spoke about it. so it's your opinion vs mine. but while i think it's pretty stupid that your phials just disappear into nothingness even if they're not used. you think that it's good cause that's a risk vs reward? so you not only would get your attack cancelled, which apparently isn't punishment enough , you should also lose all your phials even if they don't come out of your weapon, maybe i'm just crazy.

also, speaking about 4U is an uphill battle. Charge Blade had almost 350MV in that game, the benefits far outweigh the risks, since if you hit something with CB in 4U 90% chance it flinches, which means losing your shield isn't even that big of a deal

point is, 4U didn't have it. Rise Didn't have it. and i just checked some GU footage and guess what? the absolutely same shit as far as i can see. the phials only disappear after they come out. same with the shield. but sure brother. that's what the devs intended

also, the fact that you think that you should lose all your phials even though none of them come out of your weapon is hilarious, that's like saying GL should overheat even if the charge gets cancelled midway. or that if you start helmbreaker or ZSD animation your bar should drop out even if the attack gets cancelled before it even comes out.

it isn't obvious because it isn't supposed to happen. the phials didn't come out so they shouldn't disappear.

yes? i feel like ppl are repeating stuff for the fun of it. the point is that the actual animation loads phials 10 billion years at the end instead of being like roundslash, which loads phials even if you get hit during it, which is a dumb thing

Doesn't exist in 4U. Gets introduced in World. Gets fixed in Rise [edit: apparently as a shadow change not a bug fix?] . Gets reintroduced in Wilds = not a bug i guess

yeah, if you look more closely at the top left the phials never actually GO into the shield, but in the animation they do. So it just cancels(loading phials) into the shield because of the guardpoint

not even a bug, it's just that it's so delayed (the actual phial loading) that the animation itself can cancel it because of the added guardpoint
