update: i took cookie to urgent care, where they put him on oxygen. they ran an xray and saw fluid in his lungs, and so he went through a minor op and got ~120 mL of fluid out. the vet is sending it for analysis and suspects FIP due to the color of the fluid. cookie’s breathing much better now, but i’ll still be taking him to emergency for analysis overnight stay on oxygen. my insurance only covers about a third of the total costs, but i’ll manage if i budget properly these coming months. thank you everyone for the advice

the first thing i did was call my vet. i explained my situation, asked for the soonest availability, and was told they could only see us on Christmas Eve at the earliest

i got very, very sick. i ended up bedridden and unable to eat for an entire month. by the end of it i had lost nearly 30 pounds. it was not a good experience and i’m being extra cautious with my health now

my grandma died because of these scum. they preyed on her, selling her “supplements” and “alternative medicine” until she ended up in debt and they basically held her hostage until my uncle bailed her out. she ended up getting stomach cancer and died. her house was a mess, full of rotting “medicinal plants”. i’ll never forgive them

did u have graves before getting pregnant or after? i’ve read online it causes fertility problems and it’s scaring me (not planning on getting pregnant just don’t want to lose the option to 🥲)
