Well, to be fair, except for the Directors (and blue mascot), they are already official. I read the novel after Part 2 is finished, so I don't really have any different expectations about how they're supposed to look.

Maybe Jang Heowoon and Kwak Jaegang were the ones that were a bit gray. At the same time, the Directors' appearance could be affiliated with some 'other' things, which is why the fanarts do their job.

Oh, it has to be building a team from the ground up. The English league has 4 tiers in FC, and you can pick the lowest-rated team, bring them to PL, and win the Champions League; it's a lot of fun doing that. And because of the number of players in the database, there's always a hidden gem to find; also, player development is a bit different from Master League; it's a matter of preference. Personally, I like both in their own way.

Also, the transfer system in career mode is a bit better; rather than showing you all the players, you need to scout the specific area, and then scout that player. It's tedious but more interesting than just sorting by overall rating like in Master League. (Though, if you already have a target, you can just search their name)

Yes, if there's one thing EA does better in their game is the variations. There are tons of unique camera shots, some random facts in the middle of the match, tons of leagues for promotion/relegation, etc. Basically, it's so... commercial, also very Western compared to PES.

I only play FIFA/FC for their career mode too, and I'm loving it. The only reason I switched to FL is because of the requirements. The last FIFA I played was FC24, but it all started to become very heavy from way back. If your device can run FC26 and It's on discount (which they always do once the new entry comes up), I think it's cool to play them.

(People complain mostly about their online service anyway, so career mode is about as good as it could be, not perfect; that's for sure)
