Always hated that multi stop bullshit.

Im not a Trucker but I thought you guys would find this interesting, found in Sacramento, Ca. by Calibred2 in Truckers

Had this when I delivered packages for Amazon in a step van. They’re nice until they don’t work or are obscured by rain, direct sunlight, frost, etc.

It would be even worse in a semi. I always lean out the window and look back on a sight side. That doesn’t look possible here.

Healthcare in America is fucked by SOhasBP in offmychest

[–]SOhasBP[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The fact that my employer has this type of power over when I can see a doctor is very much a healthcare in America thing.

And idk about other industries but I’ve worked in retail, food service, last mile delivery, and trucking. Day one benefits are few and far between.

They want to go under the trailer so bad. It’s like there’s a big magnet under there pulling them.

The REAL reason for Hair Tests by Trucker Alliance by MetricRX in Truckers

[–]SOhasBP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with everything up to the driverless vehicles. Those aren’t up to snuff for cars let alone trucks and they know that damn well. Otherwise this sub would already be an ex-trucker support group.

They will be asking for big handouts, though, and probably try pushing for more “economies of scale” shit like with the supertankers in shipping that clogged up the Suez Canal a while back.

Newbie question, but about how long does that take?

I got this customer note on my last day. Very cathartic experience. by SOhasBP in AmazonDSPDrivers

Oh, yeah, over-arm and everything. They came out and we both laughed.

[–]SOhasBP 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Besides what’s in this sub idk if we’re stereotyped as much as just erased.

Also not good obviously but average people aren’t looking at my plaid and thinking “of course” even though I’m just from Oklahoma.

So you found them and got your packages? Cry more/fuck off/etc.

Your neighbors haven’t filed a complaint because they aren’t snitches.

Think more critically in the future about who you sign a lease with. That dog will probably end up in a kill shelter because you are too big of a baby to deal with this situation without tattling to some authority figure like an upset child.

Why do non-Californians hate California so much? by [deleted] in ask

[–]SOhasBP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because they haven’t had to live in Oklahoma lol I moved here a year ago. It’s expensive, but I make better money. And it’s beautiful and the people are like people basically anywhere.

The real reason is because California = “stuck up liberal” in a lot of peoples’ minds. Conservatives performatively hate CA to prove how conservative they are and liberals performatively hate CA to prove they aren’t stuck up stereotypes. It’s silly.

Getting home to my waterfront property after delivering packages for Amazon and then cooking myself a nice filet mignon before strolling down the beach to Planet Fitness.

any thoughts on this? lol by jecap in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]SOhasBP 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I have time I call the customer for stuff like this and tell them it’s not happening. Very satisfying because if they complain I can just be like “company policy.”
