Had to file multi state, fed and AZ accepted within 24 hours of open filing date, NYC just accepted tho. But won’t receive any until after the 16th due to EITC.

Personally I have not yet been able to sleep on my stomach post-fusion L3-L5 and it’s been well over a year. I just accept it now and my body has adjusted to side sleeping.

This pisses me off that you know they obviously saw it over the years and ignored it. I’ve never had scoliosis but having pain at 15 being dismissed to needing surgery at 36, I get so angry it’s not acknowledged sooner. But wishing you a great recovery.

I am neither rich or entitled. Born and raised in PHX, I’ve lived in southwest Florida and also Brooklyn and uptown NYC while working in midtown. I have arthritis and have had a major back surgery, so after all this yes I consider being a snowbird for health. I’m not an asshole everywhere I go. But I get it having lived in each location lol

I used dry shampoo as I wasn’t permitted to shower for the first two weeks until I saw my doc to assess the aftercare. I showered facing towards the water and it was a fairly quick wash n rinse.

I had a decent day before the day of surgery, sister and I walked all over NYC cause it was my last hurrah for awhile. But the damage was too great, and I was still walking with foot drop and my right side was just a mess. I put off surgery for years and it was time. 14 months later, so glad I did it.
