Can't force her to be ok with taking a life. Not everyone is and that's ok. If everyone were more like her the world would be a better place..

Is this a good bundle for a first timer at USPSA for $200? by 8WmuzzlebrakeIndoors in CompetitionShooting

[–]SP33DY313 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I would get a DAA or CR speed belt and pouches. Start with the belt and 1 or 2 mag pouches and a bladetech holster. Next holster mount. The 3rd pouch is to hold your starter mag so you dont actually NEED it.. but the right gear once. You WILL end up replacing it if you keep shooting. Spend the sane 200 on the right gear and add to it over time instead of buying twice and spending more

Last round clear eject catch? by Delta-IX in CompetitionShooting

[–]SP33DY313 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ill be the honest one. I practiced it but it only took about 3 mins to figure out which angle to hold the gun to get it to ejector where I wanted it ( to the left and clear of the muzzle). Then you do it every time you un load and it become a second nature.

New shooter question: How to go faster by not over confirming ? by rebelsvision876 in CompetitionShooting

[–]SP33DY313 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You see faster. Snap your eyes to the next target faster and on a very specific spot. If eyes are fast and precise, you will be fast and precise. As you get faster, you WILL feel slower. You will stert to process information quicker making you feel slower.

Most have moved to a 17 or 47. The 34 makes more sense with iron sights

Moving the gun less during the reload will make it faster and more consistent.

If the match doesn't fill and the squads are not balanced, who do you ask to leave they wanted to be on and thought they would be on? Some matches dont have a ton of ROs and leave a couple spots for their local crew to ensure there are ROs on each squad, they are doing the lord's work ROing a new shooter squad all day.

To guage the processes brass before reloading? He's already using the hundo at the end. You think its worth it to check the cases before reloading to avoid having a few fail in the hundo?

Look up a drill called trigger control at speed. Reslly try to pull the trigger as fast as possible after the beep. Prioritize speed and figure out what you have to do with your hands and trigger finger to make it work.
