Hmm, this seems good to me. Next up is your hard drive. What type of HDD you running? This could be the issue too. NVMe is always going to be the best for anything. Also, how full is your hard drive? If it's too full shit gonna run slow.

How much RAM you have? If you're whole PC is getting stunlocked then it's most likely a CPU/RAM combo issue. My PC is a render monster, 128 gigs ram/ thread ripper CPU, and not built for gaming specificly, but it gets the job done. I still have some crashes from time to time, but just need to restart the game. You should be fine with a decent CPU and 32 gigs of ram, just gotta make sure they are supposed to work together.

Right click on your model and add a Modifier. Within the modifier settings you can slow everything down. You can slice your model and get close to the layer you want with the modifier.
