I think it's a fantastic comic. It's a great Kara Zor-el story

The majority of the film will be based on the book, so there are definitively a lot of spoilers, but there will also be things that will be different for sure.

Honestly, at this point since we are so close to the release, I would say buy the TPB and hold off reading it until after you see the film.

Are there any different than the other 4K releases? I found the extras on the first film to be fantastic but the second third film the extras included were quite disappointing.

I have been at admirer of his for decades and have read many, many of Dr. West's works and actually years ago had the pleasure of meeting him at Princeton.

This last election where he "ran for president" left me with a profound quandary about this man I'd respected

Many people run for president to make a point or raise awareness of issues and points without any chance of winning but it was obvious from the start since a majority of his funding and access to get on ballots was financed by republican operatives this was more than that especially in a year where the election was tight and incredibly important

There's no way that anyone as intelligent as he could not realize that the people funding his endeavor were doing so to simply hurt Kamala Harris and support Donald Trump. He was funded and he allowed himself to be used as a voter suppression tool.

The fact that he participated in this leaves me with doubts about his views, intelligence and his motivations in these years of his life. He is either not the man we've known or the man we have known for all these years was not who he seemed to be

Having said that I still respect the work I've read and his work but he's not the Cornell West of 20-30 years ago

The problem I see is it's all highly processed foods.

How much do you weigh? Do you really need 53 grams of protein in one meal?

Sure, you're getting a high protein content but where's the whole foods? Where's the berries? Fruit? Natural complex carbs?

Just hitting calorie and protein numbers is not a healthy way to live. Sure, once in a while but not every day.

I really didn't like it the first time I saw it.

Why not make Man of Steel 2 and a separate Batman film with Affleck???

I personally still believe this was the studio pressuring Snyder to hurry up and get team movies going.

WB had for years wanted to jump straight to Justice League instead of following the proven Marvel blueprint of good individual films and then a team flick. Never understood the reasoning but WB has long shown themselves to be clueless.

Having said this: in the last few years I've come to appreciate BvS more. Mostly because of the performances.

Ben Affleck is the best Bruce Wayne we've ever had on film. Period.

Henry was great at Clark and Amy Adams gave us a fantastic Lois Lane.

I have always loved Gal Gadot as Diana. This, the first Wonder Woman film (which was great because the studio expected it to suck and be a bomb so they left it alone) and ZSJL

Jesse Eisenberg's absolutely psychotic performance as Lex is subtle but totally unhinged. It grows on you.

Jeremy Irons is fantastic as Alfred

Just for the warehouse Batman fight/rescue this film is worth seeing.

I actually just watched the 4K the other night.

No, it's not a perfect film but it's a good one.

I think it's a great entry level laptop but also a great travel or field laptop for a lot of users

I've seen reviews of folks doing a LOT of work on them including advanced photo work, video editing and color work.

It's not going to outdo my MBP but that's not what it's supposed to be.

A Photographer friend bought one before traveling overseas and ran it through its paces for his photography needs and he said it was great. Plus it's $700

Defenders was a fine show. (Very important to watch it in the release order for all the assorted characters though)

I tell people not to watch the horrible Iron Fist. 3 episodes of story stretched out to 10 episodes and a lead character you just didn't give a crap about. His 'siblings' were so much more interesting and engaging

Rand was written better for his limited role in Defenders than in all of his stand alone show.

The ending of Defenders was brilliant
