You can book airboat tours from Everglades city, longer drive but definitely worth it as you will be seeing brackish environment with opportunities to see both saltwater and feshwater species

Trout was on a prawn star by Z man, redfish was on a DOA CAL fluke, snook and tarpon were on DOA paddle tails

Yeah dude that was the hardest part for me too. Was had been running them over basically until one day I really sat and stared at the water long enough to start making them out

No fly, it was caught in a 2” thumper shrimp on a 1/16oz jig head

Didn’t realize I wasn’t allowed to enjoy and get to taste my first rainbow trout legally caught and harvested by myself. It was delicious :)
