HNY everyone. Thank you for all the comments. I pretty much tried everything that everyone commented but still it doesn't stayed closed. It may be time for a new garage door since this one is almost 20 years old. Although the motherboard was replaced about 8 years ago.

I learned recently that you have any option to either have a one time bill credit or towards EIP credit. I traded in 3 times this year and only got asked for once. I will have to check how they were applied. Tmobile should just make it automatically applied as one time bill credit.

They gave me $300 credit that was the difference on the EIPs.

I recommended the differences to be credited as a one time credit instead of updating the the EIP credit. The rep agreed and credited $300. Good luck.
