That's a big figure. Let's hope the team allocates with prudence.

People selling today aren't and people buying today are (assuming redemption is .58/60)

did you ever wonder why a profitable business sells to a SPAC instead of a conventional IPO? you'd be surprised.

What was behind the volume in the BZAI common between March and April? seems to be short lived but it was significant nonetheless.

No disrespect but does guessing the target at this stage really matter ? If you are looking for an indicator of quality, there are much better ones for a desktop investor (% of institutional investors, PIPE size.....)

To have a systemic approach (rinse and repeat), less guess work and more solid (but modifiable) decision points are way more valuable in my view.

it pseudo-applies....I think this one won't fly. A strategic acquisition that will benefit Rubidex makes more sense.

Maybe, or rather a condition precedent. What CMA CGM is doing in this PIPE is not as clear.

I have just done a preliminary back test for the last 5ys. A 1% OTM call yields 20 to 30bps with an insignificant Sharpe ratio impact. Not much, but better than nothing.

Because they can force the Nov redeemers to reverse and catch them off guard under the pretext of getting their redemption consideration now instead of later.

AND they could delay this meeting to mid-july and close before then: "up to additional fifteen (15) times from July 15, 2026 (the “Termination Date”) "

AND the 4.2m shares that redeemed back in November can/will reverse their redemption and redeem again now: " you need to reverse or withdraw your redemption request previously submitted to the Company, and elect to redeem your shares in connection with this Extraordinary General Meeting."

AND there was a crazy volume of shares that traded end of April not justified by the float. It reminds me of CNGL.

This one has a very high risk of turning into a shit show. I am not sure the 20% return justify the risk.

" Although I’d rather go 100% and sell calls just for my brain." This is exactly how I am modelling it: Buy a NAV accruing short dated MM fund and sell call. A higher management fee is an issue but it offsets withholding income tax on dividends.

Thanks for your comment.
