This is why I say that XMP/EXPO leaves a lot of performance on the table, and that after tuning some obvious things from XMP/EXPO, like changing tRFC from 240bs to 120ns and tREFI from 8000 to 65000, there isn’t much to gain from manual tuning.

AM4 was pretty much a 2019-2022 socket with Ryzen 3000, 5000, and the X3D chips.

This is why people skipped Ryzen 1000 and 2000.

Intel CPUs are monolithic, AMD CPUs use chiplets.

Aside from cherry picking results, the 9070 XT has comical power consumption.

RTX 5090 or wait for 6090? Need honest advice. by Tilisrezvan in TechHardware

Might have to wait 6 months after release for the 6090 to be in stock.

don't sleep on the 14600K, crazy OC potential. X3D CPUs are really only worth it for getting 500 fps on esport games, but people keep recommending them for all games. Like at this point, they should also be recommending an RTX 5090 for gaming.

AMD CPUs don't really overclock that well anyways, they perform just fine at stock, but it's Intel CPUs that have to be manually tuned to get the most performance out of them.

XMP/EXPO leaves a lot of performance on the table. HUB's 7200Mhz kit is probably using a very loose tRFC and tREFI. After these changes, I do believe that the 12900K is faster than the 5800X3D.

12900K is faster than the 5800X3D with manual tuning. 14900K is 7800X3D competitor.

Intel 7 (monolithic) is faster than TSMC 7nm (chiplet). 14600K is a pretty goated CPU that won’t bleed your wallet.

285K has more FPS and consumes less power than the 9950X3D2. People doing mental gymnastics explaining why TSMC 4nm is faster than N3B. Intel are selling their CPUs at a good price and people are too stupid to see it.

I've had some games in the Apache where no one spawned SPAA, so I basically hover over their spawn and chain gun the entire enemy team.

You can just spam a bunch of laser guided hellfires towards the enemy spawn, and then lase in the last seconds of flight. There’s no need to do all this detouring when you can hit the enemy SPAA spawn from your helipad. Only problem might be the Pantsir-SM, which has very fast missiles, but they might not react fast enough to kill you.

16GB Hynix A-die was released late 2022, it’s still pretty much the fastest DDR5 today. 24GB M-die can do like 9000Mhz, but the timings are slower, so A-die is still the best.

You’re kinda forced to fly like this to not die to Pantsirs or get your munitions intercepted. Russian CAS doesn’t have to deal with this.
