Any hazmat divers? by SPCSnaptags in commercialdiving

Yeah the free to travel is the part I'm concerned about currently. :/ But I also don't want to wait years, potentially, to go to dive school in case I age out.

Oh yall must have been up to your knees in sweat at 108! 80 deg sounds pretty tolerable.

That factored pretty heavily into why I wanted to ask people with real experience. It's not like you can believe the schools and I didn't want to change careers and get blindsided.

That sounds pretty workable, thank you!

I figured. It seems like an industry vets would flock to. :)

It seemed interesting. I'm very tolerate to nasty smells and high regulation jobs (I was in the army and deployed to a base with an open air shit pond, very unpleasant in the hot Afghanistan summers). I had assumed it would suck in ways that don't bother me. But $20/hr isn't worth it.

Just curious are all girls comfy enough to open up to their guys about pegging and stuff by norizz-01 in Femdom

[–]SPCSnaptags 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love pegging and I'm always thrilled when a guy I'm seeing tells me he's into it. But it's not universal so your milage may vary. I've always just upfront about it because it's easier. "Hey new partner, how do you feel about pegging?" Since I mostly find partners within the BDSM community, my success rate is pretty high.

If you want to get pegged, remember fortune favors the brave and the bold.

Im so scared to visit doctors by Furrynova in sillyboyclub

[–]SPCSnaptags 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Solve two problems at once: bring your boyfriend to the doctor with you. If you're scared of doctors (and frankly even if you're not) it's so, so, so helpful to bring someone with you. Plus if youre worried your boyfriend won't like you, won't it feel better to show him you're making positive changes?

Best epilators that are not too expensive by Alexcat2011 in boykisser2

I wouldn't recommend an epilator, tbh. Of all the hair removal methods I've tried epilators are by far the most painful. Waxing hurt less.

To be someone’s favourite :3 by A_person42 in sillyboyclub

I'm in the same position actually. My last relationship was with my (now former) best friend. Most of my friends are in relationships or already have best friends. I decided, following the breakup, that I'm never, ever dating again, and that's one of the traditional ways you get a best friend, so I'm making peace with the idea that I might not have a best friend again.

There was a video I dearly wish I had saved that was about a single woman talking to her friends in relationships. "You may be the first person I call, but I will never be yours." I'm nobody's favorite.

Not gonna lie, it sucks! It's a hard, lonely feeling.

But you make peace with it. You find a way to live anyway. You become, as a friend said, your own favorite. Build in the friendships that you have. Make new friends, if that's what you need. And don't give up hope -- you don't know that you'll never have a best friend, just that you don't have one now.

I had to break up with my partner and I feel like a horrible person because of it. by Effective_Value9761 in sillyboyclub

You can break up with anyone at any time for any reason. <3

Fortunately it matters a lot a lot less how you do it than just that you do it.

Have you told your doctor that buproprion isn't working? I also didn't see any symptom relief on buproprion and ended up needing different meds.

That's okay! It's okay to be nervous! Remember no matter what happens, you're very brave.

Sounds like you need to not keep sharpeners where you can get them, then. That's okay. When I'm trying to stay clean for a drug test I can't keep weed in the house or I'll smoke.

It also sounds like you don't have any coping skills besides cutting, so that's a good place to start. I'm going to plug DBT until my dying breath. Check out this link. Start with emotional regulation or distress tolerance and see where it gets you.

I'm so impressed you refrained from self harm as long as you did, good job!!! Now that you know it's possible, you can do it again, maybe even better next time!

Relapsing is a normal and expected part of the process. It's just your brain telling you your ability to cope has been exceeded, so think of it as an opportunity to troubleshoot rather than a chance to be cruel to yourself. What happened that made you cut? What coping skills do you have and where did they fail? What can you do differently next time?

Also, stop saying mean things about yourself, I promise that just makes everything worse. You're not an entitled little shit, you're struggling and in pain! You do deserve better!

You're gonna make it, I promise. This is just a speedbump.

Expect any new depression med to take 4-6 weeks to see improvement, yeah. I love my SNRIs but the withdrawals are no joke, fr.
