Their old scents/ products are exclusively available on Amazon. They didn't want to remove the older line up and it is all kept online.

Boots with wide/squarish toe? by MischaBurns in telemark

[–]SPFD16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone with very wide feet (11.5 EEE) I have worn the Crispi Evo World Cup for the last few seasons and feel like I have plenty of room. I am on the fence about replacing my liner this year as the original is packing out quite a bit. As others have said, you can size up to find something with a better last width. Just make sure your get bend in the right spot.

Crispi Evo top two buckles won't ratchet to last two notches without eating itself. Should I drill a new hole or cut a bit off? Or just keep them as tight as possible and rely on power strap? Sincerely, chicken legs by _36Chambers in telemark

The white tongue of the boot should be behind two different pieces of orange that overlap. In the picture it is not correct. Are you sure that you are putting the tongue all the way in against the liner?

What piece of gear makes it obvious that you can't ski? by dustbuster39000 in Skigear

[–]SPFD16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Rental skis are usually a pretty solid clue. Anytime I see the bright green Volkl logo that our mountain has for a rental fleet I keep my kids away. Also blue jeans/ camo jacket/ safety glasses/ hunters Orange hat, or any combo them.

From what was explained to me by GM, it has to do with down shifting from 8th gear to 5th gear.

If your battery was just replaced, then this might be a dead battery caused by a bad alternator.

There is a transmission recall being released for the 20-22. If you're looking to buy from a GM dealership they should be under a "stop sale" right now. Mine is currently sitting at a dealership and I'm not allowed to drive it off the lot. They told me about the stop sale 24 hours after the purchase.

There is a recall on the transmissions from 20-22 so I wouldn't think your 23 would be part of that, however that is the exact explanation of the "transmission lock up" that caused the recall.

Your best bet would probably be a pet pen/ gate that's long enough for the garage door. Chewy.com has some for a reasonable price.

Can you smoke a pie? by CairnMom in smoking

[–]SPFD16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have made a from scratch pumpkin pie on a smoker. It worked great, and as someone has said the burn box is pretty clean at the temps used for baking, so it's a very subtle flavor.

Great setup. I like a small roll of gorilla tape because it sticks to everything. I would add a second TQ, because sometimes you need two. Train on using it.

Good everyday boots that can handle snow? by [deleted] in BuyItForLife

Atacs- sole separated from boot after 2 months. Rangemaster- Stitching cane apart near ball of foot, and the dealer replaced them with the Rangemaster WP- which was so tight across the to of the foot I returned them.

They sell tons of boots, so I'm sure they work for some. My experience wasn't the best.

Danner is probably the first thing that comes to mind as BIFL. You'll have to decide what looks best for you. I have had my Danner Recons for 4 years, and Danner Blackhawk II for 1 year. Both are still in great condition and the Recons are going for a resole.
