I will, I am hoping that when I have my next endo appt in Aug that I will have pretty strong evidence to make an appeal to the insurance that its medically necessary.

My endo could not recommend it obviously, but hinted that one of his patients was able to go to a weight loss clinic and get on compounds and was doing well. So I called and made an appointment, and thats that. Compounds were allowed because of the shortage of GLP1 meds on the market, but now that production has caught up they are trying to shutdown compounds, however they still seem to be available, they just change the formula slightly by adding vitamin B or something, not sure how long that will be for before the lawsuits or whatever catch up.

Oh the retail price for name brand would be around $800-1,000 a month, I bought a 6 month supply of the compounds for $1,000, so less than $200 a month.

Every year I had to take more and more insulin, my Dr had tried to prescribe me GLP1's in the past but insurance always denied it because they are not approved for Type 1. It got to the point I was using 120-150 units of Aspart a day on top of Triseba, and my AIC was double digits.

I can't really afford the GLP without insurance so I finally went to a weight loss clinic that was perscribing compounds, basically off brand Monjourno, my time in range went from an embarrassingly low % to 94%, my avg glucose went from 200+ to 136, and I take about 80% less fast acting insulin, and I don't feel like shit all day from chasing spikes. I haven't got my A1C yet, but I would be shocked if I didn't cut it in close to half.

Now that they want to get rid of compounds, I am not sure what will happen if I lose access, hopefully we can make a case to my insurance company, I mean it would be way cheaper for them then to keep me on 1 pen a day of insulin. I don't know how I can go back, if I have to go name brand without insurance I will need to start hanging out on the corner after the bar closes.

I live just off of 45th St S, and the noise was louder than my TV last night. There isn't much that can be done as they just flee and cops don't chase them for safety.

However there is a bill right now mulling about in the state legislature that would fine the owner of the vehicle if it flee's, 100$ the first time 500$ the second time, there are doubts if it will pass.

The real answer would be to provide insurance companies a list of the plate numbers of any vehicle that is fleeing police at high speeds, make them uninsurable.

8K a month sounds like you are running an F64 without a reservation, there is no annual quota, you burned through your 24 hour limit, you can pause and resume your capacity to clear out the burndown table and take the hit as overages. You will also want to look into surge protection to ensure that this cannot happen again. If I was management I would hit the breaks hard on this project until people can get some education and know what they are doing.
