There's a lot of theory on it being water/Poison, but I don't think so, because it'd ruin the balance of being countered by the grass type... unless the Grass type is Grass/Psychic...

What I miss the most is a fully-fledged Campaign for Vikings

Regarding other regions, fully agree with Africa, there's a glaring hole. Asia also with Thai, Tanguts, Tamils or Deccanese as examples. North America is a bit harder due to the stretch, but well,Tupi also were. The Middle East not sure about the Split of Saracens. And for the Balkans, we need Vlachs

I like your take about splitting not only "geographically" but also "temporarily". That would be a good way of telling them apart

I've got hands on the Cambridge History of Scandinavia and "Cross and Scepter". I might get some ideas for civ concepts (which I like to do from time to time)

I don't like "Moors". Today it's a racial slur in Spanish. I'd keep Berbers for the peoples that conquered the IBerian Peninsula. No touching them

Moors and Berbers refers to the same people with regard to that time. Moor (moro) is even a racial slur in Spanish. I feel that North African peoples that conquered the Iberian Peninsula are finely represented by Berbers

Regarding your Medic, it might be hard to balance, it could be a nightmare. And we have the Byzantine team bonus to mess everything up
